Scott’s Story
Scott Brayton's story has taken him from Kentucky to Boston, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, and back home again. Raised in Kentucky, he attended high school in Boston and college in New Orleans before spending nearly two decades in New York City, where he built a successful career in financial services. Eventually, he decided to follow a lifelong passion for food and hospitality, enrolling in culinary school and beginning a second career in the restaurant industry.
Today, Scott lives in Louisville with his wife and their two daughters, ages five and seven. While his professional life has revolved around restaurants, wine, and hospitality, his favorite role is being a husband and father. Much of the inspiration for his cooking comes from family meals, time spent around the table, and the belief that food is one of the best ways to bring people together.
When he's not cooking for clients, you'll likely find him making breakfast for his girls, helping with homework, cheering from the sidelines, or planning the next family gathering. Scott believes the best meals aren't necessarily the most elaborate—they're the ones that create connection, conversation, and lasting memories.
His approach to private dining reflects that philosophy: welcoming, thoughtful, and rooted in the idea that every guest should feel at home.
